PROJECTS

Sanity;Gone
A beautifully designed, responsive website providing strategy, game guides, and data for the mobile game Arknights.
Built using the static site generator stack, using HTML, CSS, TypeScript. Uses React and Next.js as its framework and the Contentful CMS to host guides, vanilla-extract and Headless-UI for styling, and FlexSearch for searching. Is deployed via Vercel.
Formerly built using Gatsby, Emotion, and Material-UI. Is in the process of being rewritten and redesigned in a new Astro implementation.
Train
A cool 2D train that follows a track of your choice, at a constant speed. The track is generated using spline interpolation.
Built using HTML Canvas and JavaScript, for my Computer Graphics class.

Graphics Town (Cooler Train)
A quaint little lakeside town, with a train. All logic, meshes (trees, train stations, pagoda, etc.), and geometry were made by me, along with a couple of the materials and textures. Volumetric lighting and a reflective lake with good-looking water were the biggest challenges.
Built using Three.js and JavaScript, for my Computer Graphics class.
food.stinggy.com
A simple website showcasing food reviews from restaurants I've tried in the Madison area.
Built using an Express.js server, using HTML, CSS, JS. Uses Handlebars for templating, Tailwind for styling, and is hosted on a DigitalOcean VPS (behind a reverse proxy).

raymondzhao.com
My portfolio website. Believe it or not, you're on it right now.
Built using the static site generator stack, using HTML, CSS, TypeScript. Uses Astro and Svelte as its framework, MDX for blog posts, Tailwind for styling. Is deployed via Vercel.
Designed entirely by me, not copied from any templates. Fully responsive.
